The Ministry of Infrastructure said this Monday afternoon (1st) that there are no records of partial or total blocking on federal highways or strategic logistic points.
The information, released through a post on its official Twitter page, came in response to the mobilization of truck drivers. Industry leaders intended to carry out a strike during the day.
Earlier, the ministry said that, during the night, after the dispersal of protesters by the São Paulo Military Police in the access to the Port of Santos, acts of vandalism were registered on the highway that gives access to the port.
MInfra, based on information from the @JusticaGovBR through @PRFBrasil, informs that at 12:00 on this Monday (1st/11) there is no record of any occurrence of partial or total blockage on federal highways or strategic logistic points.

“Criminals threw stones at vehicles in transit and damaged an Ecovias tow truck. The Federal Highway Police escorted about 25 trucks during the night, avoiding any retention on the road”.
Since early morning, however, there are no more reports of vandalism and traffic flows smoothly. The port operates normally, the ministry said.
