The head of the Jewish synagogue was found murdered outside her home on Saturday Detroit, Samantha Wall. According to CBS Detroit, the 40-year-old was stabbed repeatedly.
The death of Wall, a senior adviser to the Democratic Party and head of the Isaac Agree Synagogue, was confirmed by the Jewish community through a post on social media platforms. “We are shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Samantha Wall, our board president”says the statement of the Jewish synagogue. “Currently, we do not have more information, but we will share it when it becomes available”is highlighted.
Detroit police have launched a manhunt to find the killerwhile the motive of the crime remains unclear so far.
“Sam was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met”Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel wrote in a post on Platform X (formerly Twitter).
Elisha Slotkin, a member of the House of Representatives, for whom Samantha Wall had worked in the past, said she was “devastated”.
