The specific section is the continuation to the east of the Hersonissos – Neapoli section, it will be implemented by improving the section and geometry of the existing N.E.O. Neapoli – Ag. Nikolaos and is part of the overall project of BOAK, which is developed over a length of approximately 300 km and extends from Kissavos to Sitia.

Also, the green light from the Court of Auditors is expected to be given within the next few days to the project of the extension of Kymi Avenue with the contractor TERNA – AKTOR – INTRAKAT.

The cost of the project is 352.3 million euros including VAT (284.3 million euros without VAT).

The extension of Kymi Avenue that will be built as a public project will start from the junction of Attica Odos and will end after 3.8 km on the National Highway, at the junction Kalyftakis (Kato Kifisia).
