The streaming service Paramount+ announced, during his panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 the actor’s return Michael C. Hall like the iconic character Dexter Morgan in two new productions: “Dexter: Resurrection” and “Dexter: Original Sin”.
Michael C. Hall will star in “Dexter: Resurrection,” a series set in the present day, and will be the narrator in “Dexter: Original Sin,” being the “voice” in the head of the character in his younger version, played by actor Patrick Gibson.
“While ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ will appeal to millions of longtime fans, ‘Dexter: Original Sin’ will introduce a whole new generation of viewers to this legendary series, starting from the beginning, which is sure to satisfy the series’ loyal audience as well,” said Chris McCarthy, co-CEO of Paramount Global.

“Dexter” was one of the most popular series of the 2000s. The protagonist is a forensic expert who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing murders. Over the course of eight seasons, Dexter experiences the conflict between his killer instinct and his desire for happiness.
