THE Paramount+ released the first complete episode of “Dexter: Original Sin” on YouTube . In total, there are 10 episodes, which will be released weekly on the streaming service. The last one will air on February 14th.
Set in Miami in 1991, the plot follows Dexter in his transition from student to serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, he must learn to channel his inner darkness, according to the synopsis..
With guidance from his father, Harry, he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on the authorities’ radar. To make matters more complicated, Dexter must balance his extralegal affairs with a new forensic internship at the Miami Metropolitan Police Department.
The production stars Patrick Gibson (“The OA”). Names like Christian Slater (“Death Attraction”), Christina Milian (“Amor da Aluguel”), Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and more make up the cast. Michael C. Hall who played Dexter in the original series, which aired from 2006 to 2013, returns as Dexter’s inner voice.
