The Federal District Civil Police (PCDF) identified the victim whose head and legs were found at the Sewage Treatment Station of the Federal District Environmental Sanitation Company (Caesb) in January this year.
Thalita Marques Berquó Ramos, 36, had his identity confirmed on February 13 through anthropological, dental and genetic examinations made by the Department of Technical Police (DPT).
The woman’s face was very injured, with six stab wounds, and the corporation works with the hypothesis that she was quite assaulted, possibly the beads, before being quartered.
Expertise indicated evidence of cranial lesion and bruises. It was also observed a wound whose cause has not yet been determined, and it was possible to have been through a white or firearm.
The PCDF was based on a process involving medical and dental techniques, biological profile analysis through forensic anthropology and genetic examinations made by the Forensic DNA Research Institute (IPDNA).
The head was found by an outsourced Caesb employee who was doing the second, of the three, daily cleaning, around 1 pm on January 14. The next day, in the morning, one leg was found in the same tank where sewage waste from various administrative regions of the DF was drained.
