Lithuania has found no signs of terrorism or sabotage so far in its investigations into the crash of a DHL cargo plane, although the black boxes containing the flight data and chat recorders have yet to be found, authorities said today. The plane crashed near Vilnius airport on approach to land early Monday, killing one person on board, with Germany’s foreign minister later citing a possible accident or hybrid attack in “changeable times”. The Lithuanian Prosecutor General’s office is leading one of two official investigations into the crash. “Our initial information does not indicate that we need to investigate more serious actions,” prosecutor Artouras Urbelis said in a statement, adding that the investigation is ongoing. “We may find indications of other types of actions as we investigate,” Urbelis added.
