Diddy daughters leave court twice during strong statements

The daughters of music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, chance and the twins D’Alila and Jessie attended the hearing that marked the rapper’s trial at the United States District Court in Manhattan on Monday (12), but left the court twice amid “strong” testimonials.

Diddy faces five federal criminal accusations, including extortion, human trafficking, and transportation of people for prostitution purposes.

During the trial, the sex worker Daniel Phillip gave an extremely explicit statement about the alleged Comb activities, claiming that he was paid by the star of the star, Casandra (Cassie) Ventura, to have sex with her while the musician watched. Phillip also claimed to have witnessed combs being violent with the then partner.

At another point, prosecutors exhibited security images of a hotel, recorded in 2016, in which the defendant supposedly appears assaulting his ex.

His daughters remained in the room during the video screening and, along with the rapper’s mother, Janice Combs, stared forward, while the defense lawyers watched the recording.

The jury, consisting of eight men and four women, was selected shortly before the initial statements.

The case revolves around the allegations that Diddy operated on his label, Bad Boy Records, as a supposed “criminal organization”, with employees and close people to cover up violent and abusive behaviors.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the artist would have committed crimes with the help of her “intimate circle.” She told the court that Diddy would have reacted violently when she discovered that Cassie, now 37, had begun to relate to someone else.

The prosecution also stated that Combs used the videos of his drug -watered sex parties as a form of blackmail and emotional control against Cassie and other women.

Initially indicted for three crimes, the singer began to answer for two additional accusations later included by the Public Prosecution Service.

The rapper declares himself innocent and his legal team maintains that the relationships mentioned were consensual.
