The price of a liter of diesel showed a slight increase in the last week, according to a survey released this Tuesday (21) by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The numbers for the week of June 12 to 18 do not yet reflect the increases announced by Petrobras last Friday (17), which would only take effect the next day, in the country’s refineries, for diesel and gasoline.
The average cost of a liter of common diesel (S-500) went from R$6,886 in the previous week to R$6,906, a variation of 0.29%.
In Bahia, however, where there is a refinery privatized by Petrobras, the product reaches its maximum price as measured by the survey: R$ 8,630. The lowest was registered in ParaÃba: R$ 5,640.
The average cost of the less polluting version, the S-10, went from R$7,008 to R$7,034: an increase of 0.37% between the two analyzed periods.
The highest price was also found in Bahia: R$ 8,930. The lowest cost was found in Pará: R$ 5,860.
Regular gasoline showed a slight decline, from R$7,247 to R$7,232: variation of 0.20%.
The most used fuel in family vehicles had its maximum consultation price located in Rio de Janeiro, where it costs R$ 8,990.
Filling the tank is cheaper at a gas station in Mato Grosso, where a liter costs R$ 6,300.
On the 17th, Petrobras announced a readjustment of 5.18% in the price of gasoline and 14.26% in the price of diesel, to replace losses related to the international price parity policy.
The company had not revised the price of gasoline for 99 days, while the price of diesel had been the same for 39 days.
With the measure announced by Petrobras, starting the next day, gasoline would cost more R$ 0.15 per liter. With regard to diesel, the increase would be R$ 0.63.
These numbers refer only to the company’s share of costs in pricing each liter of fuel: R$4.91 for gasoline and R$5.61 for diesel.
According to the same ANP survey, the liter of ethanol, which had an average cost of R$ 5.002, presented a negative variation and dropped from around R$ 5. It is at R$ 4.910, a drop of 1.8%.
The cubic meter of natural gas in the period went from, on average, R$ 5,279 to R$ 5,360: an increase of 1.53%.
Liquefied petroleum gas, the popular 13-kilogram kitchen cylinder, ranged from R$112.64 to R$112.50 (-0.1%).
