A funny ensemble comedy in 5 episodes. Otherwise, directed by Max Nardari, through the fresh and immediate language of the comedy, wants to entertain the audience, however, lighting a light on the theme of diversity in its most varied aspects. The director, in fact, wanted to combine the works produced over a few years, and for which he collaborated with various authors, in a single “project” that had a fil-rouge: that of promoting important themes such as homophobia, the racism, the female solidarity, intercultural confrontation, adoption, addressing directly above all young people, teaching them to look with confidence and be surprised by those who are “different”, inviting them to tiptoe into their world, putting aside prejudices and mistrust.
The first episode (She and the other) deals with the issue of job insecurity and political recommendations: protagonists are a university researcher (Claudia Zanella) and a note winner of a reality show (an amazing one Michela Andreozzi).
The second episode (Him and the other) sees instead the contrast between a gay boy (Ivan Bacchi) and a hetero homophobic (Alessandro Borghi) who find themselves being roommates.
In the third episode (Us and the others) a young couple discovers that they have gone to live in a condominium of immigrants only.
In fourth episode (Love has no religion) deals with the theme of interreligious dialogue, seeing in opposition two families, one Muslim and one Catholic (headed respectively by Mohamed Zouaoui and Elisabetta Pellini), who are urgently called by the director of the nursing home where their respective parents reside, who fled together in a flight of love.
The fifth episode (One of us) finally, tells of a couple (played by Simone Montedoro e Euridice Axen) who, after having struggled to have a child in temporary foster care, later discovers that the child is black.
