The Turkish Foreign Minister made his own comments on the tripartite meeting with his Russian counterparts Sergei Lavrov and Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, in a third separate press conference after the meeting.
Taking on the role of mediator in the ceasefire effort, the Turkish Foreign Minister said the meeting “was not at all easy”, but despite the difficulties he said it was a civilized one.
Wanting to show that the climate was not warlike, Tsavousoglu revealed that “tones did not rise, there was no tension” during the tripartite meeting held in the tourist suburb of Belek, Antalya, at the hotel that formerly hosted Vladimir and Vladimir Barack Obama.
The Turkish Foreign Minister said that the continuation of the talks between Ukraine and Russia depends on the talks in Belarus.
He characterized as the greatest achievement of this meeting the fact that the communication between the two countries was achieved.
