Digital fashion platform BNV launches its own metaverse

Digital fashion startup Web3 BNV is creating its own virtual reality to better fit the demands of the fashion world than the “simplified worlds of Sandbox and Decentraland”.

The BNV development team has announced that it is ready to launch a beta version of the BNV World metaverse platform, which is designed specifically to showcase complex and authentic digital fashion items. As conceived by the creators of BNV World should compete with other popular platforms.

BNV CEO Richard Hobbs acknowledges that Decentraland and The Sandbox have significant support in Web3 circles, and platform NFT assets, such as virtual clothing or shoes, can freely circulate in the crypto space, move between metaverses and social networks.

However, in his opinion, the main disadvantage of acting worlds is that the design of objects is built in extremely simplified three-dimensional cubic proportions, which limits their practical usefulness as a showcase for fashion brands.

“The reality is that a lot of brands don’t really seriously consider The Sandbox or any voxel-based environment to help advance the fashion industry,” explained Richard Hobbs.

The head of BNV told reporters that his project has an ambitious goal – to become a link between traditional fashion brands and design tools for the metaverse.

BNV World will allow residents of the virtual world to showcase fashion items from leading designers in ultra-realistic 3D, as well as provide an exclusive marketplace for BNV NFT products.

BNV World is not the only project focused on the promotion of haute couture products in the metaverses. In March, Space Runners announced it was developing and releasing NFT fashion collections and raising $10 million in funding.
