The digital influencer Desiree Almeida died on the night of this Wednesday (6), after colliding the motorcycle he was driving with the side of a truck on BR-101, between Itapema and Balneário Camboriú, north coast of Santa Catarina.
The young woman was 21 years old, was a teacher and dancer and had accumulated more than 1 million followers on her social media.
On TikTok, Desirée posted videos with dance choreography, which went viral among internet users.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Desirée, our young Hip Hop teacher (…). We are so sorry for such an early loss,” wrote one of the schools where she worked as a teacher.
The young woman’s publicist, Ruthy Fortuna, also mourned the influencer’s death. “I’m still not in a position to talk about it. I only ask that you respect, the pain is inexplicable”.
The wake is being held at the Athenas Crematorium, in the city of Itajaí, where the young woman lived.
