According to the document, the check format will depend on who customers performed operations – directly through the Central Bank or commercial structures. Banks will be required to identify users of the third form of the Russian currency, identify suspicious operations, carry out monitoring – that is, repeat all those measures that are now used when working with conventional banking accounts.
For the Central Bank, there will be the right to check transactions with a digital ruble and categorizing customers by risk level.
Earlier, Izvestia publication, citing the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reported that retail chains were not ready for the transition for payment by digital ruble. The ministry asks to provide a transition period of two years to finalize information systems.
