Diplomatic thriller in Brussels: “Non paper on Kosovo union with Albania and dissolution of Bosnia”

A mysterious «non paper» border changes in the Western Balkans, such as the peaceful disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the annexation of Kosovo and Albania, has caused great concern in Brussels, as it seems that the unknown, is the President of the European Council Charles Michel.

It has not yet been clarified whether the Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Jansa actually sent this unofficial diplomatic document to Brussels, which refers to border changes in countries of the former Yugoslavia, according to the Slovenian website necenzurirano.si which revealed the whole issue.

Representatives of the European Commission told Euractiv network, that they have “Complete ignorance” European diplomats are also unaware of this document, claiming that no such document has been presented to the representatives of the Member States.

At the same time, however, the office of the president Charles Michel neither denies nor confirms the existence of this document.

Slovenia’s news website published parts of this strange non paper, where he talks about redefining the borders in the region to solve long-standing problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Specifically this strange document states that after the peace Dayton Agreement of 1995 ended the war in Bosnia, the European perspective of the countries in the region led to improved relations and stability, but did not solve basic problems, such as that the Turkey seeks to increase its influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina and northern Macedonia.

The “solutions” listed in the document are:

a) Unification of Kosovo and Albania

b) Concession, in return, to Serbia of the wider part of Republika Srpska, ie the Republika Srpska of Bosnia

c) Joining the Croatian territories of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Croatia or granting a special status such as that in South Tyrol.

d) The same regime is provided for the Serb areas of Kosovo.

e) Bosnians will gain an independent state and in a referendum will be able to choose either the EU or the strengthening of their relations with another country, such as Turkey.

“At the moment, the vast majority of Bosnians are in favor of the EU, with the sharp rise of Turkish influence and radical Islam, the situation could worsen dramatically over the next decade,” it said.

According to the German version of Deutsche Welle, the author, or at least one of the authors of this unsigned document, is the Prime Minister of Slovenia.

Last March, six EU Member States, namely Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary and Slovenia, signed a non-paper on the occasion of the EU Foreign Ministers’ meeting on the 22nd of this month, stressing that Bosnia and Herzegovina must “remain at the center of the EU”.
