The Poco brand today officially unveiled the flagship smartphone Poco F4 GT. The novelty has an excellent combination of price and performance, but we already know these very characteristics very well. Poco F4 GT is a rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. At the same time, there are not even any differences in terms of design.
Poco F4 GT received SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with two vapor chambers with a total area of 4860 mm2. The smartphone is endowed with a 4700 mAh battery with support for 120 W wired charging (the original L-shaped cable is included in the package). Poco notes that it takes 17 minutes to fully charge. Redmi also provided the same data, announcing the K50 Gaming Edition.
The Poco F4 GT retained the retractable magnetically actuated side keys. They are useful for both gamers and ordinary users, as they can be assigned to call any applications. For example, a flashlight or a camera.
The AMOLED screen is characterized by a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The main camera is with sensors with a resolution of 64, 13 and 2 megapixels. The front camera is with a 20-megapixel sensor. The software platform is MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
Poco compares the new flagship with OnePlus 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22+. On the official slides, the F4 GT outperforms both competitors, but at the same time its price is half as much.
The base version of the Poco F4 GT with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory is priced at 500 euros for first buyers, the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory costs 600 euros.
