The movie “The Pool Guy” entered the Prime Video catalog this Friday (6). The title marks the debut of Chris Pine in the direction, who also stars in the production. He is known for starring in “Princess Diaries 2” (2004), “Star Trek” (2009) and “Wonder Woman” (2017)
In the plot, Darren Barrenman, a man who spends his days taking care of the pool of a condominium in Los Angeles, discovers a major criminal scheme in the city. He joins his neighbors on a journey to uncover who is behind the theft of water in the city.
Besides Pine, names like Annette Bening (“American Beauty” and “Nyad”), Danny DeVito (“Matilda” and “Batman Returns”), By Wanda Wise (“She’s Gotta Have It” and “Someone Special”), Jennifer Jason Leigh (“The Hateful Eight” and “Atypical”) and Ray Wise (“Hungry Eyes 2” and “Street of Death”) are in the cast.
