The most interesting thing is that the suspect was appointed to the post of director of the power plant today, December 8th.
“At the place of residence of the suspect, the fact of theft of electricity in significant volumes was established, since the specified mining farm was connected bypassing the electric meter. While working in the energy system, despite the energy crisis in the country caused by the low water cycle, using his official position, he was engaged in the theft of electricity, thereby damaging the energy security of the Kyrgyz Republic, ”the press release says.
Now investigators are counting and assessing the amount of electricity stolen by the miner and the total damage to the state.
