Discos, yes to the reopening, but no dancing. Maybe vaccines

The countdown has started: from 1 June Italy will start, progressively, to turn white. Friuli Venezia Giulia, Molise and Sardinia begin, then, on the 7th, it will be the turn of Liguria, Veneto, Umbria and Abruzzo. Meanwhile, Lazio, Lombardy, Piedmont, Puglia, Emilia-Romagna and the autonomous province of Trento arrive below the threshold of 50 weekly cases per 100 thousand inhabitants: from 14 June they could become a white zone. The indoor swimming pools will reopen, wedding parties can be organized and we will return to the theme parks.

And, finally, they will also be able to reopen the discos. With a different function than usual: it will still be No dancing, but aperitifs, dinners and cocktails can be served.

In recent days, the president of Silb-Fipe, the dance and show entertainment association, Maurizio Pasca, has given his willingness to organize open day for vaccines even in discos in view of the summer events, to speed up the vaccination campaign and ensure that it could reach even the youngest.

The Silb has also delivered to the Scientific Technical Committee a protocol on the safe reopening of discos, which provides for the use of mask without the need for spacing social. The protocol also prescribes the obligatory nature of the green pass (vaccination certificate, swab or certificate of recovery), the use of disposable materials, the traceability through the purchase of tickets online and the disinfection of the premises.

The association also proposed an experiment, in June, in two different discos of Gallipoli and Milan, to test the conditions for the reopening of the sector.

And the emergency commissioner Francesco Figliuolo has shown himself to be a possibility: sent the Silb Fipe experimental protocol to the Regions and the CTS, with the aim of carrying out «the competence assessments“For the” safe reopening of the dance entertainment sector in full compatibility with the protection of the health of users and workers, as well as to represent the willingness of users in the sector itself to be able to actively contribute to the national anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign, with an attention dedicated to the youth sector “.
