The free performance on Copacabana beach celebrates the singer's 40th anniversary.
Madonna is with her daughters on the sixth floor of the Copacabana Palace, in one of the seven hotel presidential suites . Luxurious and bright, the rooms measuring more than 100 square meters are decorated in a classic style, with works of art, a living room, personalized pampering, a king size bed, marble bathrooms with bathtub and, of course, butler service.
Guests also have access to the iconic “black pool”, an exclusive pool covered completely with black tablets, which became famous for being a celebrity retreat.
To live an experience like that of the queen of pop, the daily rates for Copa's presidential suites with sea views are around R$ 20 thousand , but vary with seasonality. However, she didn't just reserve one room, but the entire floor to have more privacy and access control. In total, the singer's entourage occupies 90 hotel rooms which is in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Number 1702 Avenida Atlântica features a preserved art deco façade, Spa, tennis court and a glamorous semi-Olympic swimming pool. Because exclusivity and comfort are essential points, the 239 apartments and suites, divided between the main and annex buildings, have hosted kings, queens, celebrities and intellectuals.
Its construction, between 1919 and 1923, was one of the foundations for promoting luxury tourism in the neighborhood and creating the world's imagination of Rio de Janeiro. Whether by its illustrious residents, such as Jorge Ben, or the popular events and dances promoted, the hotel is, to this day, a true playground of the Rio glamour. The hotel has hosted other illustrious guests such as Princess Diana and King Charles, Tom Cruise, Nelson Mandela, Mick Jagger, Katy Perry, Barack Obama, Gisele Bündchen, Brigite Bardot and Richard Gere.
