THE Galaxy AI resource pack of artificial intelligence (AI) for phones Samsung was launched in January of this year and is already available for a series of Samsung cell phones and tablets. The tool works as a way to enhance mechanisms already offered by Samsung and to create other functions that have not yet been launched by the company.
Available for free on compatible Samsung Galaxy devices – at least until the end of 2025, according to the company – Galaxy AI provides text summarization, photo editing, support for writing messages, among other features. Below, check out nine functions offered by the tool.

The “Circle to Search” feature allows users to draw a circle around any image or text on their smartphone screen to instantly search for information on the topic. The search is performed directly in the app or browser window where the circle was drawn, without having to open a new app to perform the search.
Navigation Assistant
Navigation Assistant works by summarizing long articles and web pages, making reading faster and more objective. This feature can help those who work or study while consuming large amounts of information.
Call Assistant and Simultaneous Translation
The feature allows you to translate phone calls in real time, which can help people who communicate with different parts of the world and in different languages. Simultaneous translation also helps those who need to communicate in another language while traveling internationally.
Transcription Assistant
Transcription Assistant converts voice recordings into text, identifying different speakers. This feature can be useful for professionals who need to accurately transcribe interviews and meetings.
Smart Notes
The Smart Notes feature can help you summarize notes and generate custom templates for organization, productivity, and planning.
Smart Chat
Smart Chat allows you to translate and grammatically correct messages in real time, enabling communication between people from different regions of the world.
Photo Editing Suggestions
Using artificial intelligence, the feature recommends improvements in editing photos taken with the Samsung Galaxy device, such as brightness adjustments and cropping.
Generative editing
The Generative Editing feature allows you to create edits to your photos with the help of AI. Unlike photo editing suggestions, the tool itself makes the necessary adjustments.
Privacy
The Privacy feature ensures that you have control over permissions to use your data to enhance the functionality of AI tools. This control is done through the Advanced Intelligence settings, which can disable online processing of data for AI features.
Which devices is Galaxy AI available on?
According to Samsung, Galaxy AI is available on the latest Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 lineup, and on previous devices such as the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy S22, the Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip3, and Galaxy Z Fold3 foldables, and the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy S7 tablets, and most recently on the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35.
Galaxy AI is also present in the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatches, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Ring smart ring. When using a watch and a smart ring from the brand, it is also possible to receive integrated and accurate health analysis.
