Actor Song Jae-rim was found dead this Tuesday (12), aged 39, in his home, located in the city of Seoul, South Korea. The information was reported by the South Korean website Sport Chosun.
Despite having started his artistic career as a model and appearing in Korean versions of magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Bazaar and Marie Claire, the star became notable for his performances in South Korean films and series.
Song Jae-rim has starred in dozens of productions, as well as appearing in music videos and even being part of the cast of a reality show. He was, alongside Kim So-eun, in the fourth season of We Got Married, which brought together fake celebrity couples to show what their lives would be like if they were together.

In this series, Song Jae-rim plays a chef with whom a mermaid falls in love. In this retelling of the classic “The Little Mermaid”, by Hans Christian Andersen, the protagonist has one hundred days to find true love after transforming into a mermaid.

After participating in We Got Married, with Kim So-eun, the virtual couple was cast to live a love story in “Our Gap-soon”. He plays the unemployed role who has been trying to pass the civil services exam for years. Expecting him to get a job and propose, his girlfriend supports him by working in several different places.

The film tells the story of a senior South Korean Navy officer who, after being accused of treason, forges a marriage and assumes a new identity in search of revenge.

“Two Weeks” (2013)
“Two Weeks” tells the story of a man who decides to give up crime when he was about to be a father. In the production, Jae-rim plays a murdered professional who served in the French Foreign Legion and was hired to kill the protagonist.
