This Wednesday (03), the Disney released an unprecedented image of “Moana 2” . The sequel to the film is scheduled to hit theaters in November 27th seven years after the release of the first title.
In the new photo, the protagonist appears alone, with her oar (look above). The announcement of the sequel was made in February of this year, after the release of a 16-second teaser, which already offered the release date of the new production.
In this new film, Moana will be joined by Maui and a new crew of unlikely sailors to travel to the distant seas of Oceania, in a dangerous challenge, after receiving a “phone call” from their ancestors.
Just like in the 2017 film, Auli'i Cravalho It is Dwayne Johnson are already confirmed in the dubbing of Moana and Maui. The animation will be directed by Dave Derrick Jr ., which was also part of the production of the first film, nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Music.
