The Walt Disney Studios streaming service, the Disney + made a new partnership with the South Korean company HYBE and will begin to distribute content produced in the country.
Among the novelties are series, documentaries, films and shows by popular K-Pop bands, such as BTS which gained global fame and popularity in Brazil.
The group, which is currently on a career break, will have the backstage of everyday life shown in “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star ”, a documentary series that will show previously unreleased footage and music from behind the scenes of the band’s last nine years.
The series also promises to show the seven members’ plans — Jeon Jung-kook , V , Park Ji-min , sucks , J-Hope , Jin and RM — for the future, as they will use the hiatus of BTS to invest in personal projects.
The series premiere is scheduled for 2023.
The platform will also distribute the film.”BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA”, an exclusive, high-resolution recording of the band’s concert at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, United States.
Other content produced by South Korea is expected to arrive on Disney+ soon.
