Disneyland will open its doors to its young and old friends at Paris on June 17 taking a step back to normalcy. The bars, restaurants and tourist areas that had been closed due to coronavirus are also being opened in the City of Light.
The largest tourist attraction in Europe, the Disneyland Paris, which employs 17,000 people, was closed from March 13 to July 15 last year and closed again on October 30.
The theme park as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency had to cancel its opening plans twice – first in February and again in April – due to the health situation in France.
“We are pleased to announce that Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17,” the theme park said in a statement, adding that it would take “enhanced health and safety measures.”
