Dissatisfaction of the Turkish Community of Germany for Burbock’s attitude in the interview with Cavusoglu

Criticism of the foreign minister’s attitude Analena Burbok during the joint press conference with her Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglulast Friday in Istanbul was formulated by the German Turkish Community.

“I would have preferred certain issues to have been discussed diplomatically behind closed doors. In any case, one has to find other methods to discuss,” its president told the RND Network Turkish Community of Germany, Giokai Sofuogloupointing out that the two ministers “moved away from the language of diplomacy and each of them spoke with messages towards domestic politics”. He even expressed the hope that “the population of Turkish origin will not suffer under these conditions” as has happened in the past in similar confrontations.

Mr. Sofoouglou, as reported by APE-MBE, however expressed the satisfaction of the fact that the Annalena Burbok met in Turkey with representatives of the opposition. “I detect some model change with Mrs. Burbok. He visited the opposition for the first time. I think this is good, because the opposition can always form the next government and one should cultivate their relations”, he commented.
