Djavan jokes about the heat: “There’s no longer a good place to read a book”

The singer Djavan 75, shared on social media a joke that uses the lyrics of one of the biggest hits of his career to talk about the heat wave situation in Southeast Brazil.

One of the verses of the song “Nem um dia” says “A cold day/ A good place to read a book”. In Instagram stories, the musician published a meme written “So hot that even Djavan no longer has a good place to read a book” (see below).

Temperatures of almost 40ºC were observed in areas of the four states (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo) on Tuesday (21).

Intense heat of around 40ºC continues this Wednesday (22) in the Southeast, which should cause an increase in heavy clouds throughout the day. There are showery conditions in almost all regions in the afternoon and evening.

The refreshment should only arrive at the weekend, when rainy conditions increase, which should reduce the temperature in the states.
