The Brazilian action series “DNA do Crime”, available on Netflix, will get a second season. The information was confirmed on the streaming platform’s social networks.
The premiere date for the next season has not been revealed.

“DNA of Crime” arrived in eight episodes on Netflix in November this year. The plot, which is based on real crimes, follows federal agents in their quest to solve a robbery at a securities insurance company in Paraguay. Following the crime, police officers from the Foz do Iguaçu police station begin an investigation that follows the trails of DNA samples collected. The technology allows agents to reach other recent crimes and find criminals’ even bigger plans.
The series, which stars Maeve Jinkings, Rômulo Braga, Thomás Aquino and Pedro Caetano, was created and directed by Heitor Dhalia. The script is by Bernardo Barcellos and Bruno Passeri.
