The British actor Jonathan Bailey 36, revealed a connection between his two productions, “Wicked” and “Bridgerton” . Anthony’s horse in the Netflix series is the same as Fiyero’s in the adaptation of the Broadway musical.
“I’ve worked before with the horse that’s in the film . I played another character on ‘Bridgerton,’ so when I was asked about playing Fieyro, the first thing I said to the director [John M. Chu] was, ‘I know exactly which horse to hire.’ Then Jack and I have history . It was a pleasure to be able to work with him again”, he said in an interview with the BBC.
“Wicked” is a prelude to the classic “The Wizard of Oz” and follows the story of Elphaba a young woman who, because she has green skin, is misunderstood and still does not know her true power, and of Glinda a popular and ambitious woman who has not yet discovered her true identity.
The film stars Cynthia Erivo (“Harriet” and “The Outsider”) and Ariana Grande (“Brilhante Victória” and “Sam & Cat”). Names like Jonathan Bailey (“Bridgerton“), Jeff Goldblum (“Jurassic Park”) and the Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere at the Same Time”).
