Doc 2, Luca Argentero: “The heart is not commanded”

Luca Argentero, aka Dr. Andrea Fanti better known simply as Doc, is back. The new (and highly anticipated) season of the series, a Lux Vide production in collaboration with Rai Fiction, inspired by the true story of Dr. Pierdante Piccioni, who lost 12 years of his memory due to an accident, has restarted from 13 January on Rai1 . New entry in the department? Covid, but “with a look to the future and not to the past”, as the actor tells us in this video interview: «In my opinion, our screenwriters were good because they found the right way, they weren’t anchored in the past, because it is the past. They imagined a new normality, the new reality to which we are all getting used to, and that we must make it our own without being too afraid ».

My medical skills? “My friends make fun of me by asking me about the opinions that I am not able to give, and therefore I look for the most severe diagnosis to answer their jokes. Fortunately, I’m not a hypochondriac and so my anxiety hasn’t increased. “

Spoilers on affairs of the heart? «Forbidden», Argentero specifies, but he lets it slip: «A type of man like Doc is unlikely to get out of his idea of love, of family. Even if it is not paid it is difficult, something strong must necessarily come to take him away from his dream, which is to have his family back. If this thing happens, of course, I can’t say. What is certain is that, whether reciprocated or not, Doc’s heart belongs to one person“. And even the actor agrees: “The heart is not controlled, if that’s what you feel you have to be faithful to what you feel.”
