A 71-year-old doctor was found dead last Monday morning (14) inside the hospital where he worked, in the Federal District. His name was not released.
According to the Civil Police, the case took place at the Sobradinho Regional Hospital. Unit employees found the professional already lifeless in one of the rest rooms exclusively for doctors. They reported that they tried to contact the victim and, without success, broke down the door.
The police reported that, for now, the suspicion is a natural death, as the doctor’s body showed no apparent signs of violence.
According to the Civil Police, the professional suffered from heart disease.
The doctor’s body was taken for forensic examination. The police are awaiting the final result of the report to confirm the cause of death.
