A doctor from the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) of Inhumas (GO), Goiânia Metropolitan Region, was disconnected from the staff, on Wednesday (16), after being caught by a patient researching bicycle prices during care hours.
“After internal investigation and confirmation of the veracity of the facts, the municipal administration adopted the appropriate disciplinary measures, resulting in the immediate dismissal of the professional of the public health service providers,” the city said in a statement.
The video was reportedly recorded last Saturday (12) and circulated on social networks during the week. Noticing the video circulating, sent a technology team to the UPA and investigate the case.
In a publication on Instagram, the City Hall of Inhumas released the professional’s search history, where it is possible to see various sports items, including bicycles. The doctor was notified of the resignation by email and WhatsApp, but has not yet spoken.
