The director Ryan Murphy most famous for the productions “Glee” and “American Horror Story”, will launch a new series called “Doctor Odyssey” . The new work had its trailer released this Monday (26) and, one of the highlights of the record, is the appearance of the singer Shania Twain among the cast.
In “Doctor Odyssey,” Max (Joshua Jackson) is the new doctor aboard a luxury cruise ship where the crew works hard and plays hard. Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises in the area and each other, miles offshore.
It is unclear what role Shania Twain will play in the film. In addition to the singer and Joshua Jackson, the cast includes Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale and Don Johnson.
“Doctor Odyssey” premieres on ABC, a North American channel, on September 26. There is no release date set for Brazil at the moment.
Another Ryan Murphy series in production is “Monsters: The Menendez Brothers: Parent Killers,” which will be released on the Netflix streaming service on September 19.
