The international medical and humanitarian non-governmental organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) announced today, Thursday 31/10, that one of its doctors, who works in a hospital in northern Gaza, was arrested by Israeli forces. He is Mohammed Obeid, an orthopedic surgeon who works at the Kamal Antoan Hospital in northern Gaza and was arrested during an Israeli army raid on his facility on October 26, the organization said. “We are extremely concerned by the arrest of our colleague. We appeal for the safety and protection of our colleague and all medical staff in Gaza, who work under unimaginable conditions and face horrific violence as they try to provide medical care,” the organization said.
