Documentary about Elton John gets trailer and release date

The documentary that follows the trajectory of Elton John This Thursday (3), it received an official trailer and release date on Disney+. The production, called “Elton John: Never Too Late” hits streaming on December 13th.

In the first images released, the public is faced with records of remarkable performances throughout the musician’s 50-year career, as well as reflections on his career, obstacles in his personal life and his family relationship.

Another highlight is the preparation for their last show at Dodger Stadium, in North America. In the scene, John guarantees a trip through time sharing highs and devastating lows, overcoming adversity, abuse and addictions before establishing himself as the current musical icon.

The documentary will even feature a new original song by Elton John.

The documentary is produced by Rocket Entertainment and This Machine Filmworks (part of Sony Pictures Television) and directed by RJ Cutler and David Furnish. Cutler and Furnish are also producers alongside Trevor Smith. Elise Pearlstein, Mark Blatty, Luke Lloyd Davies, Rachael Paley, Jane Cha Cutler and John Battsek are executive producers.
