Sindon, with a dimension of 4.2 meters by 1.1 meters, first appeared in the 1350s, bearing the faint image of a man, which many consider to be the imprinting of Jesus Christ. The fabric presents the anterior and posterior aspects of an adult man with obvious signs of physical abuse.
