Dogecoin co-founder bought cryptocurrency again

Although a few years ago, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Marcus vowed to invest in cryptocurrencies, the other day he could not stand it and bought DOGE coins. At the same time, the amount of the investment was not disclosed.

In early June, the price of the meme cryptocurrency reached a historic record of $ 0.73, but then Dogecoin began to decline and is now trading at $ 0.23. Despite this, the DOGE rate grew by 5,000% over the year, mainly thanks to the support of entrepreneur and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Musk repeatedly wrote about this cryptocurrency on the social network Twitter, and each tweet from the entrepreneur pushed the coin rate up. Even Markus decided to invest in Dogecoin again. Dogecoin Co-Founder wrote:

“I bought Dogecoin despite my promise to myself 8 years ago to never invest in cryptocurrencies. In an hour, I checked the rate of the coin 7 times. It grew by 10%, and now the growth is 3%. Looks pretty good anyway. ”

Markus previously revealed that he sold all of his DOGE holdings in 2015. The amount received for the cryptocurrency did not exceed $ 10,000.

Recall that the other day the Dogecoin developers proposed to reduce the commission for transactions from 1 to 0.1 DOGE in order to return the coin’s attractiveness for making payments. In the future, the commission may be reduced to 0.01 DOGE.
