The Archbishop of America Elpidoforos, by decision of President Donald Trump, was appointed a member of the Modern Federal Federation of Religious Freedom Committee in the US. The Commission was created on 1 May by executive decree and is tasked with providing advice to the federal government, and in particular to the White House religious affairs and the Council of Internal Policy on all issues of protection and promotion of religious freedom in the country. The chairman of the Commission was assumed by Texas’s anti -government, Dan Patrick, while Dr. Ben Carson was vice -president. The Commission is going to draw up a detailed report on the foundations of religious freedom in America, the imprinting of the current threats against it and to submit recommendations for the preservation and strengthening of all protective valves for the benefit of future generations.
