In a post on Truth Social, the social networking site he created, the former president, who has already launched his campaign for the 2024 presidential election, revealed a collection of “Donald Trump digital cards”, in a model very known to sports fans.
On Wednesday, the Republican mogul had made a cryptic post: “America needs a superhero. I’m going to make a big announcement tomorrow.”
The cards will be “beautiful artistic creations from my life and career,” the real estate mogul promised.
He posted an image showing him drawn as a muscular comic book superhero. The “superhero” has his hands on his hips in a boxing ring and wears a red jumpsuit and a belt with the words “champion Trump” against the background of the American flag.
“Only $99 each! Very good idea for a Christmas gift! Hurry up! I think they will sell very quickly”the former president added.
On a special website, the businessman and former TV star offers gifts to certain cardholders, for example a dinner at his luxury residence in Florida or an hour of golf with him.
This announcement risks reinforcing the impression that Donald Trump’s election campaign has not really taken off as he had hoped.
