Donald Trump for duties: “When people understand what we do, I think the dollar will go up a lot”

US President Donald Trump referred to both the duty issue and the talks that will take place today, Saturday (12/4), in Oman between the US and Iran for the Tehran nuclear program. Speaking to reporters shortly before his flight with Air Force One to Florida for the weekend, he said the minimum level of duties is 10% or close to it, adding that there may be some exceptions. He also told reporters that he believes that something positive would happen to China. Concerning the bond market, in which duties had caused concern and hesitation, he acknowledged that there was a “short time” this week, but treated it immediately.
