Donald Trump Plans to Release Another NFT Collection

US presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced that he will release a fourth collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This became known during an interview with the publication Bloombergpublished this week.

The entrepreneur who was shot at a recent press conference in Pennsylvania told reporters about his plans. According to him, all previous NFT collections were successful and sold out in one day.

“We sold all 45,000 NFTs. 80% of the purchases were in cryptocurrency. And that was an eye-opener for me. I’ve done collections three times and I’m going to do it again. Because people want it,” Trump said.

Notably, Trump’s first NFT collection saw a sharp decline in trading volume in April 2024. In 30 days, the figure dropped by 99%.

The politician had previously hinted at the release of a fourth collection during a meeting of NFT collectors. However, he made no promises at the time:

“I believe in supply and demand. But as you know, the first collection was good, the second and third too. At some point, maybe everything will change.”

Trump also added that he actively supports digital assets and the development of the crypto industry in the United States.

“If we don’t do this, China will take over. Or someone else will. Cryptocurrency is here to stay, and that’s surprising,” the Republican presidential candidate said.
