The catwalks are one of the scenarios that most capture the attention of the audience, because seeing how the models present and wear the garments that are the latest in fashion trends is satisfying for many. Whether they are experts on the subject or just amateurs, everyone finds the way the girls walk in high heels and the glamorous demeanor they display when posing in front of the public an amazing sight.
However, walking on a catwalk is not easy at all, since in some cases, high heels become the number one enemy of girls, they become the protagonist of unglamorous moments and cause some falls of the models that with over time they become epic.
Whether it’s due to wearing the wrong shoes or a slippery floor, falling while walking down a catwalk is one of the most unfortunate moments for a model. However, this designer wanted to turn the biggest fear of every girl and she made this accident emblematic by having her models replicate it on purpose, resulting in a memorable parade.
That’s right, we’re talking about Swedish designer Beate Karlsson, who made her debut in the Italian fashion capital. During Milan Fashion Week she presented her new spring-summer 2023 collection for the brand AVAVA in a fun and quirky way that culminated in a parody of a fall.
Karlsson tried to do something different and epic during the show, so as a joke and on purpose, he asked his models, who wore tall furry yeti boots, dressed in bodysuits and money signs, caps with the phrase Filthy Rich and dressed with hoodie with the legend Business of Gold Diggingwhich deliberately fell at the end of the catwalk, capturing the attention of all spectators and fashion followers.
I wanted to do a parody of a fashion show to go along with the pathetic theme of this collection and the extreme superficiality of fashion at a time when so many people feign wealth but risk falling flat on their faces.

Trying to send the message and show how appearances can trip us up, the debut of creative designer Beate Karlsson has given a lot to talk about and not just this time, but since last year she took the helm of the AVAVAV brand. During Fashion Week in New York she got noticed for making a shorts with the silicone replica of Kim Kardashian’s butt and her eggshell-shaped silhouette, her boots with toes, among other surreal creations.
With this parade, the designer wanted to show the ostentatious facet of a sector of people who exude luxury and flaunt with wealth, showing the fine line that separates feigned success from failure.
Like many others I have craved money for the past year, wherever I go is part of the discussion. As a result, I want to look rich, feel rich, and I want to take it to an outrageous level. As silly as it sounds, I have enjoyed my fake wealth in this difficult climate.

After a series of approximately 19 models fell within a few minutes of walking down the catwalk, at the end the designer can be seen leaving, who, between ovations and applause from the public, makes signs of thanks and then does her thing and reply the fall of the models.
