The ban on entry to the European Parliament of diplomatic and governmental personnel of Russia and Belarus was announced by the President of the Parliament Roberta Metzola. In particular, in a post on Twitter, she states:
“As of today, Russian and Belarusian diplomats and government officials are barred from entering the European Parliament’s premises. There is no room in the House of Commons for those seeking to undermine democracy.”
