The news was published by the artist’s daughter, Carla Daniel 59, on social networks. “It is with sadness, but relief, that we said goodbye to the mother, grandmother, friend, who brought good times of joy to the Brazilian audience. I love you,” she wrote.
Before making history with “The Yellow Picapau Site” in 1977, Dorinha Duval was in iconic soap operas of Globo, as “Brothers Courage” (1970), “Selva de Pedra” (1972) and “The Beed” (1973).
Dorinha Duval had her career interrupted in 1980. That year, she was convicted of killing her husband at the time the publicist Paulo Sérgio Garcia de Alcântara with three shots after a discussion.
The actress was sentenced to six years in prison in the second trial, which took place in 1989. She served the sentence in semi -open and open.
