An important initiative of doValue Greece, in the framework of the corporate responsibility program, which concerns the purchase and installation of photovoltaic systems in the historic structure of ELEPAP, in Pagrati, has already been completed and delivered.
The project, which not only enhances in practice the work of ELEPAP, but also contributes to the reduction of the energy and environmental footprint, something that is in line with the corporate principles of doValue, includes 181 photovoltaic panels, which were installed on the roofs of its buildings. ELEPAP summing a total system power of 97.74kW. The efficiency of the system is estimated at more than 150,000 kWh per year, which covers more than ¾ of the consumption of the installation. In the next few days it is expected to be connected to the HEDNO network, as informed the CEO of doValue Greece Mr. Tasos Panousi, the General Manager of ELEPAP Mr. Tassos Marianos.
Mr. Marianos thanked doValue Greece for the support, emphasizing that “the benefits that will result from the implementation of the project, will be utilized in rehabilitation treatments for children. This is a very substantial contribution of doValue to the work of ELEPAP that will have a lasting value both socially and environmentally “. On his part, Mr. Panousis congratulated Marianos and the executives of ELEPAP for their very important work, emphasizing that “we all get strength from the Brave Children with disabilities of ELEPAP”. He stressed that “the goal of the corporate responsibility program of doValue Greece is to take substantial actions that leave a positive mark on society and have value in the long run. The installation of photovoltaic systems in ELEPAP manages to serve all three pillars of our strategy (society “We know the important work done by ELEPAP for this and doValue Greece is a constant supporter of it, as well as our employees who have rushed to participate in the financial adoption program of the organization”.
Supporting the Brave Children of ELEPAP
ELEPAP is the first charitable, non-profit association in Greece which provides rehabilitation services to children since 1937. Today it operates in excellently equipped facilities, in 6 branches throughout Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Chania, Volos and Agrinio) . The organization today welcomes infants, children and adults, and offers them treatment programs, education and medical monitoring. At the same time, it provides and provides counseling services to their families.
To support the project of ELEPAP, there are a number of offer programs.
