The actor and singer Drake Bell spoke for the first time after being located and reported “safe” by the Police in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States.
The former Nickelodeon star got in touch with his fans through a tweet in which he hinted that it was all due to an oversight on his part, even taking with humor having been previously declared “disappeared and in danger” by the authorities. However, he did not share any other details or reveal who reported him missing.

On April 12, the Daytona Beach police suddenly announced via Facebook that they were looking for the star of Drake & Josh. Therefore, the 36-year-old actor was declared “missing and endangered” after being last seen around 9:00 p.m. the previous day.
However, according to eyewitness reports to TMZ, on April 11, one day before his disappearance, the actor from Amanda’s show spent the day with his son at the SeaWorld amusement park in Orlando, Florida.
Just hours after the search report, officers reportedly made contact with Bell, who was “safe,” but the statement provided no further information about the actor’s whereabouts or why there were so many concerns about his well-being.
Later that day, the former child star got in touch with his fans personally. However, Drake’s humorous tone seems not to measure the uproar that his “disappearance” generated and not all his fans feel like laughing after the moments of anguish experienced by his idol. Some even took to social media to leave comments like the following:
