Dramatic predictions about the dead from the earthquake in Turkey did Akis Celentis, who estimated that the victims will reach 150,000 people.

“Historic disaster, I know the area, I said the dead will exceed 40,000. And you see they will reach 150,000, if one also considers Syria. The numbers are terrifying. I can’t drop a bomb that will make Greece 8.8 Richter. I get dozens of phone calls every day from panicked citizens in Greece. The risk is there but not to the same extenthe said. The seismologist explained that “we don’t have faults like this on land, only in the sea” he said speaking to SKAI.

Mr. Tselentis expressed concern about the checks on public buildings as only 25% have been checked. “The municipality throws the ball at the OASP and the OASP at the municipality, it is not the fault of the OASP, they prefer to throw the funds at the festivals for pre-election reasons” he said characteristically.

Finally, Mr. Tselentis repeated that the earthquake in Turkey does not affect the Greek area. “If the earthquake had occurred on the northern Anatolia fault, I would have been concerned, where it happened is far from Greece» he pointed out characteristically.
