International pressure due to the upcoming famine forced Benjamin Netanyahu to announce Sunday night that he would relax the devastating exclusion of a 11 -week help in order to prevent a “starvation crisis” in Gaza, but only to a minimum. Fletcher said that five trucks with assistance had entered Gaza yesterday, but described this quantity as a “drop in the ocean” and completely inadequate for the needs of the population. He also said that help trucks, which include baby foods and nutritional products, are technically found inside the gauze, but have not reached citizens as they remain on the other side of the border.
