The team of the M.Video retailer announced the launch of a new convenient service to call a consultant in a retail store, which many visitors to huge electronics stores must have dreamed of from time to time.
The new function is implemented in the M.Video mobile application. To call a specialist, it is enough to indicate in which department they are waiting for him, and leave signs of the visitor. According to the results of the test launch, the average time of the consultant’s approach was 3 minutes, and the level of satisfaction with the service exceeded 82%.
In order to use the service, the user needs to log in to the M.Video application, turn on geolocation, check that the store has been identified correctly, indicate the department in which it is located, and will somewhat accept, for example, the color of outerwear.
Employees of the current shift of the selected store receive a notification that help is needed in the trading floor and the client’s coordinates are received via a chat bot.
The service is being introduced gradually. The test launch took place in 27 stores, and at the moment the service is already operating in more than 70 stores in 11 large cities: Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd, Ufa, Krasnodar and Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod … By the end of the year, the company plans to implement a “seller’s call” in all stores of the chain.
