A man was arrested after police found more than 300 kilos of marijuana in a school van he used to transport the drug. The arrest and interception of the vehicle took place in Cotia, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, last Wednesday (13).
According to the Public Security Secretariat, agents received information that a truck with drugs had arrived in the city. With this, criminals would transfer the cargo to a school van, which was supposedly going to São Bernardo do Campo, in ABC Paulista .
From there, the police outlined a possible route that the suspect would take, and positioned themselves to intercept the van.
During the approach and inspection of the vehicle, investigators seized 485 bricks of marijuana. The man intended to deliver the drug to others involved in the scheme who were in Brás, according to the police report.

The case was registered as drug trafficking in the 1st Police District of São Bernardo do Campo.
